From Tyneside & the North East

Follow the A69 west until you reach Haydon Bridge. Take the left turn for the A686 towards Alston. Follow this road for about 10 minutes and the Pantry is just on the left as you enter the village of Whitfield.

From Carlisle and the North West

Follow the A69 east until you reach Haltwhistle. Take the right turn off the A69 for Whilfield and Plenmeller. Follow this road up onto the moors. At the T junction take the left for Whitfield, and then take the next right (about 1 mile). Pass the school and go down the hill to the junction with the A686, and to your left you will see the Pantry.

From Alston and the South

Leave Alston on the A686 north towards Hexham. Follow the road over Alston Moor and down into the West Allen Valley. Once you enter Whitfield, continue past the pub and the Pantry is about 100m further on, on your right.
