When I came across this pattern in a Japanese sewing book I could hardly wait to try it out. I use old bits of curtain or other recycled fabric and match up the inside and the outside with a nice bit of a contrast. I finish them off with a line of hand stitching and now here it is - ready for you to take your lunch to work or your freshly made scones to the picnic!
It is about 15 inches from the top of the ties to the bottom of the bag, about 10 inches wide
