Indian Block Printed Quilt no. One

This quilt is made using the fabric i brought back from Rajasthan, hand block printed in a riot of colours. Lovely floral prints that are all wildly different and yet work so well together.
This is a random selection of all the prints I have.
The wadding is amazing - a 50/50 blend of alpaca and cotton, it is light as a feather and warm as toast. This is a quilt to wrap yourself up in on a gloomy winters day and instantly feel transported to warmer brighter days.
1.5 m square
hand quilted with lots of colours of embroidery thread
the back is large squares of the same stuff, so it works from both sides.

all rolled and tied in a hand stitched tie of the same fabric. ready to go when you are!
